Leap Year
Friday, February 29, 2008

this post may come a little late but Happy Belated Birthday to everyone who can finally celebrate their birthday properly after having birthday dry spell of 3 years lol.

went to zouk for some event today.

i went cos christine had to go to write a report on the event or soemthing like that

cos she's works for this ad company

the point is to promote Singtel or something.

when i asked her whether she had to report in a biased way she said that "it's just like blogging"

however i think she has to say something positive regarding singtel.

i'm just glad that i'm not the one doing the report

or else it'll probably be something like this :

(pardon my language, english was never my strong subject, just like some people seem to have a way with language, i seem to have a wall with it)

(FYI: whatever i write is purely made up, to take everything with a bucket of salt)

The Event (because i have no clue what the event was called)

Calling it an event may seem to be an overstatement, since nothing eventful happened at this function. The first hint would have been that the event was supposed to lasts from 10pm to 12pm. Just as long as it takes the siberian lynx to eat a pineapple which would be in no time at all since that's not part of its diet.

Highlights would be the free alcohol, free chocolate and seats which could be easily found on the account of the event being rather uneventful. but to be fair, i really have no idea what the point of the function was, so maybe it did a really good job in promoting whatever that was. Although, that itself would aleady be an oxymoron as it wouldn't be a good job since i still don't know the point of it.... Ah, how i love to mess with the minds of people.

My positive thing to say about Singtel would be that i really loved their ipod touch promotion thing. Judging by the reaction of my friends, i reckon that either it was a mighty success or, they've gone broke supplying ipods.

I really don't see the point of this event since everybody knows what Singtel is, being one of the only telecommunication companies in singapore. Bottom line, i admire your spirit for promoting this event, but i'm unlikely to come again.

yes i'm a mean bitch. lol
on a more serious note, on my way home i saw like the police ,or wohever they sent, searching "foresty" areas near my house for the terrorist.
now my imagination is running all over the place wondering what would happen if he claws his way up my condo block and starts staring into my room. i know he's not batman, but he did claw his way out of prison. you know. i'm just saying...

charlene's chubby cheeks
Tuesday, February 12, 2008

this post is TOTALLY at char's expense. lol
i'm sorry dear... but only YOU would appreciate this joke.
well i don't think you would
so I would appreciate this joke while you would give me the "i-wanna-kill-you- but-i-can't-cos-it's-illegal-but- if-it-were-legal-i- would-SO-kill-you -so-instead-of-killing-you -i-will-fantasize-about-it -instead" look.

haha so this is what has been happening throughout our friendship.
"friendship" lol

char: hey look at this nice picture of us
me: hey look at your chubby cheeks!
char: *THE LOOK*

char: i hate Mr. Wong
me: i know, he has chubby cheeks like you. form a club.
char: *THE LOOK*

me: *stares at char*
char: what are you looking at... why am i pretty? mimimimimi
me: your chubby cheeks are blocking my view
char: *THE LOOK*

yeah that's why what happened today is so funny for me
i was working in the pantry with Robert.
this new guy from china.
he's cool.
cos he's my homie.
WHAT DO YOU HAVE AGAINST MY COUNRTY???

ANYWAYS. this is how the conversation went. translated version

Robert: Hey how come that's chubby girl isn't working anymore?
Me: What chubby girl? Shan?
Robert: No...
Me: Eliza?
Robert: No...
Me: There are no more girls...except chitra.... and she's here...
Robert: No... the char...
Me: charlene? she's not chubby... she's just tall... and sorta big...
Robert: She looks chubby... she has chubby cheeks.

at this point i stopped whatever i was doing and started laughing

Robert: the other day when she was here, i asked whether she was busy and she gave me a chubby look.
Me: She's isn't chubby... it's just her cheeks... and she's just slightly bigger in built...
Robert: she has a very sweet and round face....
Me: How come you sound as if you're talking about a dumpling?
Robert: yeah... sweet and round... and with xian4 (filling inside dumplings... metaphor for inner beauty maybe?... NAH...jk jk)

Why i don't blog more often
Thursday, February 07, 2008

why i do not blog regularly:
1. My life is boring.
2. I want to spare everyone from reading the same post over and over again.
3. It was my birthday.
4. It was a public holiday.
5. I'm just plain lazy.
6. I was REALLY tired.
7. You were too tired.
8. I was asleep.
9. I was doing something more fun.
10. My sister was using the com.
11. My dad was using the com.
12. My mom was using the com.
13. I was using the com... to do something else.
14. I was not at home.
15. I was not in the mood.
16. You weren't in the mood.
17. I was having my period.
18. I wasn't feeling sexy enough.
19. My hair was messy.
20. My back was itchy.
21. I was playing chess with Bunbun.
22. I was distracted by my own brain.
23. I was thirsty.
24. I was eating yummy things.
25. I was watching Southpark.
26. Southpark was funny.
27. Cartman is fat.
28. So is my boyfriend.
29. Chubby Mervyn.
30. He's probably thinking "I'm NOT chubby" right now.
31. Now he's thinking "You are chubby!"
32. And anyone who is still reading by now is wondering why they're still reading.
33. And wondering once more.
34. Now you think that i must be bored.
35. Look on the bright side, i'm actually blogging.
36. That side wasn't so bright was it?
37. Okay i'll stop.
38. Curiously, i can't stop once i've started.
39. How very interesting.
40. Okay i'll stop, since i've reached 40.
41. Yeah i couldn't resist.
42. Okay this is now officially pointless.
43. I NEED SOME FUN IN MY LIFE!!!!
44. Yeah 43 is a weird number to stop at.
45. Okay i'll stop now.
