china is the perfect place for my fellow chem students if you want a first hand experience in seeing/experiencing how photochemical smog is like.Barely a month here and i think that i have already lost like 30 years of my life due to air pollution. not only that i think i might get cancer judging by the amount of second hand smoke i've been breathing in. that stuff exists here like air.

oh and it's blardy cold. on top of that i don't even get to see snow. (real snow.... not the cheap stuff snow city makes) not that i'm not seen it before... but...

anyway. my grandmom (mom's mom)'s home is cool. 2 storey with garden. and got army guys guarding some more.

went to my third uncle's pub. called left eye (direct translation) to watch a german rock band play. saw one of those german guys having trouble talking to the guy at the bar so thought i'd help. and chatted to him a lil. turned out that he's the lead singer. haha. freaked me out.

anyways they have an official website if you wanna see, btw they're called the lukcy punch.

anyways, the band was good. restored my faith in rock music which the chinese bands before had diminished. had a drink, then stayed behind the counter so that i could watch the band play from upclose. haha there were the bartenders chix who went totally crazy. i thought that since i'm 1 month to 18... i'd start actikng a little demure. so i resisted in joining them. (aren't you proud of me char?)

Anyway, maybe it's just be. but there were so many people taking picture of the band and like suddenly some guy turned to the bar, flashed out his camera and before i knew it i saw a green light followed by a flash. issit just me or have i been tou paied?

but besides that. everything seem quite dandy. except that i can only ost and not view blogspot.

Grad Night
Sunday, December 04, 2005

I don't know why everyone keeps calling it a "Prom". it doesn't even look like one. just a dinner. where students shamelessly run around throughout the meal to take pictures with friends.

Well due to my laziness. i shall just post a few pictures. since pictures say a thousand words. i shall contribute a few thousand words.

Here's char, jx and me. in our rather cheap clothes. (compared to the rest of RV) except for char of course. her dress was like 5 bucks. (literally)

People keep telling me that my dress was S$70+ at far east. and i only bought it for +-S$30 last year. (muahahahaha....) oh and i so do not look like lucy liu.

Char got into the Ms.Alma Mater(spelling?!?) contest. But then the SC won. i'm not implying anything. just use your brain. jk. in case you're reading this MingMing (or friends) you did look lovely. and u deserved to win.

Here's our RV's very own Mr.Alma Mater.

for your information. i was not trying to act cute. i was just in mid-blink. Anyways, that's not rouge on his face. he looks drunk doesn't he? and later i found out(from reliable sources) that he practically was. haha.

here's the class pic.

i'm not gonna put the netball pic here cos it's blur. yes guys. i know that you are very sad. Look at how *cough* hunky *cough* the guys have become.

Oh yeah, Jin Hui also got nominated for Mr.Alma Mater. but lost due to his big

earing.

The disco night but the most fun if you ask me. but i'm not gonna put a pic of jackson and friends dancing here cos i don't wanna spoil their image. lol. yeah anyways after Grad Night, i got pang seh by my so called friends. went to town with jm, youwei, chen wei etc people in the middle of the night to play pool. But the main objective is to wait for L^3 to come out of his movie and overnight at his place. lol. it wasn't comfortable. but we pulled through.
